Arboreal Bliss

from $24.00

The Arboreal Bliss premium habitats are designed for arthropods that won’t need a significant amount of soil to climb or dig into but focus more on life within the canopies, opting for up over out or down. This enclosure gives your new animal or plant friend plenty of room to move around and stretch its wings, legs, or roots! We highly recommend this enclosure for jumping spiders, hissing cockroaches, or a Pinktoe Tarantula.

All of our Arboreal models include a front sliding door and removable lid, magnetic latches on the lid, and a front-side sliding door. All our enclosures use pet-safe, UV-resistant clear acrylic with laser-drilled ventilation on two sides and the top.

What is the benefit of acrylic over glass?

Acrylic enclosures offer several advantages over glass when housing invertebrates, making them a preferred choice for many keepers and hobbyists. One of the primary benefits is their lightweight nature, which makes acrylic enclosures easier to handle, move, and position, especially in setups involving multiple or stacked habitats. Additionally, acrylic provides superior clarity compared to glass, offering better light transmission and a more vivid view of the enclosure's interior, which is ideal for observing invertebrate behavior or showcasing display species. Durability is another key factor; acrylic is significantly more impact-resistant than glass, reducing the risk of shattering in accidental drops or bumps. Finally, acrylic provides better thermal insulation than glass, helping to maintain stable temperatures with greater efficiency—an essential consideration for species requiring consistent warmth. These qualities make acrylic a versatile and practical material for invertebrate enclosures.

First bioactive, what else should I add to the enclosure?

Creating a bioactive enclosure is an excellent way to provide your reptile or arthropod with a naturalistic, self-sustaining habitat. By mimicking natural ecosystems, bioactive setups utilize living organisms to help manage waste, support plant growth, and maintain overall enclosure health. For beginners, setting up a successful bioactive enclosure starts with choosing the right substrate tailored to the species’ environmental needs. We highly recommend you check out our guide, which is all about Bioactive for Beginners, before taking the plunge into the world of bioactive arthropod keeping!
